it’s so underwhelming to be confirmed as right

the lgbtq+ community was literally protesting the inclusion of tayahs, years before the issue became mainstream.<br>we should’ve been believed. we should’ve been proud to stand up for other women.<br>we should’ve been, but we weren’t. we weren’t listened to. we weren’t believed.<br>i’m glad the rest of you finally understand now.<br><br>but i’m not glad. i’m just sad. knowing that our warnings would be ignored and go on to hurt other women after years of being dismissed.<br>we knew this was coming.<br>we should’ve been listened to.<br><br>(if you have any other questions, i’ll answer them)
