Why do men get to be forgiven for anything they do?

Why do men get to be forgiven for anything they do? I was listening to a podcast last night about a serial killer, and the narrator was so forgiving. They didn't even call him a monster. Like, he was a man who murdered women, and the narrator was like "yeah, he was a bit of a weirdo, but he was a sweetie". <br><br>The host of the show was even surprised that the guy was sentenced to death. Like, oh no! How ever will we survive?! The guy deserved it. He deserved to die, and he deserved to die the worst way possible. <br><br>And yet, the host was all like, "it's so nice that he got to be an uncle to the warden's kids!" What the fuck? That's the part that pissed me off the most, tbh. Like, your favorite relative is the guy who killed your mother and sister! That's the guy you want to spend the holidays with! <br><br>I think it's crazy how men are just forgiven for anything. Like, that guy should have been a murderer, a rapist, and a child molester! Not just the first, but all three. I don't know if there's a difference between men and women, but it seems like men are just more capable of violence than women. <br><br>Like, a woman can't even go to the bathroom alone at night without worrying that a man is going to rape her. Meanwhile, men walk around all day and all night, and they don't have to worry about being raped. <br><br>It's just not fair. I don't understand why men are allowed to get away with everything. They're just so lucky that they're men. Like, they can get drunk and rape women, and they don't even get a slap on the wrist. They don't even get in trouble. They don't even get a fine. They don't even have to go to therapy. They don't even have to pay for the woman's therapy. They don't even have to pay for the woman's medical bills. <br><br>They just get to keep being men. They just get to keep doing whatever they want. They don't even have to change their behavior. They don't even have to learn how to respect women. They don't even have to learn how to be kind. They don't even have to learn how to be humble. <br><br>They don't even have to learn how to be a good human being. They just get to be men, and that's enough. That's all they need to be. They don't need to be good. They don't need to be kind. They don't need to be humble. They just need to be men, and that's enough.
