AI startup run by ex-OpenAI employees raises $1.1 billion in funding from investors including Google and Microsoft

ChatGPT maker OpenAI has lost another top researcher, who is now working with other former OpenAI employees at a startup called Viral that has just raised $1.1 billion from Microsoft, Google and others.
