My son is well trained

So our story starts with my boyfriend (33m) and I (34f) deciding to take our boys to a camp site that was on private property (We didn't know this at the time). We arrived around 4 am with our children (4yrold and a 11yrold) and the sun began to rise around 6 am. The boys went to sleep and my boyfriend and I went to find a restroom. We were unable to find one so we decided to go back to the tent to make breakfast and pack up and go somewhere else. Once we got back to the tent a old man in his late 70's pulled up in a newer truck and made his way to us. <br><br>"Excuse me" he said in a friendly tone<br><br>"Yes, sir." We replied in unison<br><br>"I'm going to have to ask you to pack up and leave. This is my property.""<br><br>"Oh, I am so sorry sir. We did not know and we are sorry."<br><br>"You sure have a lot of gear for just the 2 of you." <br><br>"We have our two boys with us."<br><br>"The boys, get out here."<br><br>The boys came out of the tent yawny and confused. My son is the easiest child I have ever met, so him being shaken and emotional made me very concerned. <br><br>"You are not allowed on my property." He said looking directly at my son with anger in his eyes. The boys went back into the tent and the man continued to make me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I looked at my boyfriend and told him to pack up the tent and he quickly did. After a few minutes the old man began to get very angry and told us to leave now. <br><br>"I will give you 5 minutes to be down the road or I will call the police." He said as he pulled out a handgun.<br><br>"Okay! That won't be a problem!"<br><br>I was terrified because my sons are my world and I would never want to see them get hurt. Once the tent was packed we got in the car. We drove down the road and after 5 minutes we pulled over to call the police. We called the non-emergency line and they told us to drive to the police station. We drove to the police station (which was about 30 minutes away) and when we got there we explained everything to the officer. <br><br>When we were talking to the officer my son tapped on the window and I rolled it down. <br><br>"Mom, I am really sorry but I have to go to the bathroom." <br><br>"Don't worry baby, I am sorry." I replied<br><br>"It's okay, but I think we should go inside because we might not make it home." He added<br><br>"No, we are in a police station, we are safe. We can stay outside." I replied<br><br>"Okay, but mom what would you do if the bad man came out?"<br><br>"I would do anything to keep you safe." I replied shaken and trying to hold back tears.<br><br>"I would protect you too, mom. I would fight the bad man. I would not let him hurt you or my brother. I will always protect you and my brother." Is what he said as his eyes began to water. <br><br>When he said that I just started crying because my baby boy would protect me with his last breath. I don't know what I did to deserve such a good and sweet boy.
