My dad is an IDF soldier

I live in Israel, and my dad is an IDF soldier currently serving in Gaza. I’m scared. What if he doesn’t come home? What if he gets hurt? What if we’ll never see him again? I don’t know if to be sad or glad that I live in Israel he’s probably safer here than in Gaza but I’m really scared I don’t know what to do.
