I just heard a true story on the news that made me cry.

It was a woman in her 80s who had escaped the war. She said her husband and children were killed in front of her. She said her 9 month old daughter was thrown in front of a tank. She said her husband was beaten to death and her children were shot. She said the same thing happened to her mother in law, her brother and her sister.<br><br>Then she said her 16 year old daughter had survived. She said she had been hiding in the attic for two days.<br><br>I cannot imagine this happening. I cannot imagine the trauma and pain and the emotional burden of surviving this. I cannot imagine having to live in this world.<br><br>I do not know how I will continue. I just want to leave this world and escape this reality.<br><br>Thank you to the people who have made this post possible.
