Happened yesterday: I (40m) caught my son (14m) coming home high from school.

I'm not sure how to proceed with this, so I thought I'd post the situation here. I'm very openminded, but also fixated on having some rigid rules for my kid. I admit it is being very hard for me too, as he is the only child I will ever have.<br><br>My story starts 2 days ago when I noticed my son was acting strangely. I knew that out of all of my friends' kids, mine was by far the best behaved. However, that day, he was acting very nervous, fixated in his own world, not talking to me much and just very distant. Yesterday, it seemed better and he even became talkative again.<br><br>He studies in a private school, so I assumed the best for my kid. <br><br>Until he came home from school. At the door, I noticed he was acting strange again, kinda high in a very non typical for him way, he had a faint blush, fixated eyes and was very wobbly in his walk. I confronted him and told him that he better tell me the truth without any lies, because I'm very angry at the moment.<br><br>He shrugged and told me that it was nothing. I pushed and finally he said that he had a smoke with his friends. I asked what's in the smoke and he said that he doesn't know, but he was in the van with his friends and they told him to take a smoke break. I asked the names and he told me. <br><br>I went upstairs, checked the contact list in his phone and wrote those names down in a paper. <br><br>I fixated in his eyes and told him: "Don't you EVER smoke anything in your life, EVER AGAIN. You will die if you do so." He was very sorry and embraced me. I hugged him very tight and said to him that the only thing I care about is his well being and safety. I let him know too that if you smoke, you better tell me so I can help you.<br><br>Later, I checked the contact list in his phone again and the two contacts were gone. I have no idea why he deleted the contacts and I'm not sure if I should bring the subject up again. <br><br>Today, everything seems chill. He's very nice and sweet, he played football with his friends and hung out with them for a bit. He seems very normal. <br><br>Now, I saw the names I wrote down and I just want to go talk to the parents of those kids and raise hell about this. I'm very fixated in doing this. Should I? They're very cool and have a very good relationship with me, I'm not a loner and the kids hangout with them very often. I want to express to them my concern and tell them that their kids are smoking with my son and have him high when coming home, but I'm very afraid that my son will be mad at me. <br><br>What should I do?
