Why does my principal deny me a sick day, but then tells me I need to be in school the following day to do my lesson plans.

Tomorrow I will only have a sub for the half day, so I need to have lesson plans done for the rest of the week. <br><br>I was sick yesterday, and my school is currently understaffed. Therefore, I wasn’t allowed to take my sick day. This is absolutely ridiculous, but the fact that I was told I’m starting my sick day tomorrow is even more ridiculous. I’m sick, and I’m expected to come in for the morning to do my lesson plans. <br>Am I missing something here?
