Slavoj Žižek and the Lithuanian Question

We all know that Slavoj Žižek, the great Slovenian philosopher, has been quite vocal about his strong objections against Lithuanian ideology, and even went as far as to make a statement that "Lithuania is a cancer of Europe" and "Lithuanians are not people". So strong was his disapproval of the hypocritical nation that he felt that it was even worse than the Balkan regions and the rest of the Slavic nations. How do you guys feel about this statement?
