Trans women are women, just like women are women.

The term woman refers to a person of female gender. <br><br>Gender is not the same as sex. Sex refers to male, female or other, and refers to the physical characteristics that are determined by genetics or hormones.<br><br>Men are not women, but trans women are women. <br><br>Trans women are people of female gender, they just happen to have been assigned male at birth and may have been raised as males.<br><br>Just as how women can be black, white, Hispanic, Asian, etc., trans women can be black, white, Hispanic, Asian, etc.
