I’ve never understood why men like going to the doctor.

I’m going to the emergency room in the morning, for a check up. My previous primary care doctor dropped me this summer when he found out I was trying to get my balls checked. Today I went to a clinic to get a prescription renewed and asked the doctor about getting a physical. He told me he’s not my primary doctor and that I needed to go to the emergency room to get a primary doctor assigned to me.

This is my 3rd time in my life having to find a primary doctor on my own and it’s incredibly frustrating and time consuming. They all seem to care little about men’s health and would rather their patients die from a heart attack than be treated for low testosterone.

I’m in my early 30’s, in excellent shape, and work out at the gym 5 times a week, and I still get treated differently at the doctors because I don’t have a vagina.

I don’t understand why any man would want to go to the doctor. It would be one thing if I could make an appointment with a primary care doctor. But no. Instead I have to go to the ER and wait for 10+ hours to get hooked up with a primary care doctor. Its ridiculous.

The clinic said they don’t want to assign me to a doctor because they want to make sure they are a good fit. No. I don’t care who the doctor is. I just want to be able to schedule an appointment with one. At this point I would be happy to be assigned a veterinarian as my primary care doctor.

The time I wasted at the clinic this morning, traveling there, driving to the pharmacy, picking up my prescription, and driving back home, could have been avoided by giving me the 2 minute prescription I needed. But no, let me waste half of my Saturday driving all over town and sitting in traffic because of female privilege.
