Is it a coincidence that Aristotle was killed by a Muslim and that the aftermath of his death ended the scientific revolution in Baghdad because he was the most important scientist in Baghdad?

Aristotle worked in Baghdad for a while until he was killed by a Muslim, this ended the scientific revolution in the Middle East. This is in contrast to the European scientific revolution which continued instead of ending, Aristotle was important to the scientific revolution in the Middle East which ended when he was killed and is one of the reasons that the Middle East is not a major technological power today.
