Why would we ever go back to a non-pro-women society?

Let's pretend that the world went back to how it was 80 years ago or something, and women's rights went away. No more reproductive freedom, no more equal pay, women forced to stay at home, etc. <br><br>How would life be different for women? Would anything be better for us? Why would anyone even want to go back to that?<br><br>I guess you could say it would be easier for men to date because there would be a huge surplus of women, but I think that's a pretty weak reason to undo hundreds of years of progress for women.
