“women against women” is a stupid narrative

Women are taught to police other women’s bodies, sexuality, and worth, as well as to compete for male validation. It’s dumb and unfair, and it’s an extension of patriarchal culture. I think it’s easier to view “women against women” through the lens of patriarchy than to try to see it as a natural thing between women. <br><br>I’m not saying that women don’t harm other women. Of course they do. I’m just saying it’s not unique to women. I think it’s easier to say that it’s something women do to each other rather than just a reflection of societal norms.
