I've seen many of you say that we should be glad that we have to go through the difficulties of pregnancy and childbirth because others have it worse.

So here's a thought experiment:

**What if women had to give birth outside of a hospital, without any pain relief or medical professionals?**

Would you still be fine with that?

Because that's exactly what women did for most of human history. They gave birth in fields, forests, and back alleys, often without any pain relief or medical professionals.

And you know what? Women were **FINE** with that.

They were happy to suffer through childbirth without any medical attention, because it was "their duty" to bring children into the world.

But why should we be forced to suffer through childbirth just because others have it worse? Why should we be denied access to hospitals, anesthetics, and anesthesiologists?

I think it's time to reconsider our attitudes towards pregnancy and childbirth. We should be advocating for better healthcare, not accepting the status quo.

So, women, are you **FINE** with giving birth without hospitals or anesthetics? Because that's exactly what women did for most of human history.

If not, let's work together to make sure that every woman has access to safe, medical care during pregnancy and childbirth.
