CMV: It’s immoral to go on a date with someone and be aware theyre attracted to you if you are not attracted to them

Hey guys, I’ve been in a lot of situations where I’ve realized I’m not interested in someone but they’re interested in me. My first instinct is to be like “well this sucks, but let me be nice because it hurts to be turned down.” But I’ve realized that in doing that I’m doing something that IS turned down. I’ve had many people message me saying “I wish I would’ve known you weren’t interested earlier, this really sucks.” This is leading me to be more upfront with people and let them know if I’m not not attracted to them or interested in them sexually. I think that it doesn’t align with being a good person, to lead someone on and give them false hope only for them to get hurt by you. I’m interested in hearing of people who have a different perspective on this bc this is something that has recently come to my attention.
