Getting divorced, how do I keep my misogynistic ex from mortgaging my house to ruin my credit?

I am a female and I am in the process of a divorce. My husband who is a minor narcissist will not leave me and my children alone and keeps trying to hurt us. He has beaten me and always tries to scare me into doing things that I don't want to do. He has tried to get money from me which I have not fallen for. <br><br>The problem is that I have a second home that my mother left to me. I also have a house that we bought together and that is in both of our names. <br><br>He has offered to buy me out and let the house go to me alone. I think this is some kind of trick and will put some kind of lien on the house without me knowing it?<br><br>How can I keep him from getting any kind of credit out on the house? I keep the deed and I also have a second mortgage on the house and a home equity line of credit. If I pay them off, how can I be sure that they have all the liens removed from the house?
