LPT: If you’re going to grocery shop after it snows, take your cart inside with you.

It’s snowed twice this week where I live. Whenever the snow melts, it creates a layer of water on top of the cart. When you push it outside, the water freezes and sticks to the ground. I thought it would only be temporary, but the snow has just piled up on top of the carts. Eventually, it just looks like an abandoned cart in our parking lot. Take your cart inside with you the first time you grocery shop after it snows, and save the carts.

EDIT: I’ve never seen anybody talk about this, so I thought I’d share. My grandpa was a grocery store manager, so I’ve helped him take in carts in the snow when I was a kid.

EDIT2: I just wake the cart to the nearest cart holder and go back to my car. I don’t think anybody is saying to take your cart all the way back in the store.

EDIT3: I’ve never owned a car, so I’m used to walking to stores. I understand that it can be hard to take the cart back if you park a ways away. I’m just doing this because I got stuck bringing in all the carts when they got frozen in the parking lot.
