Don’t TOUCH MY GUNS

I want to preface this by saying I am pro 2nd amendment. Please try to look over the details of the story and understand what I’m trying to say. Two disclaimers, I LOVE my girlfriend, and she doesn’t know I’m posting this so please be nice. <br><br>I’m 28 my girlfriend is 29, we’ve been together 3 ish years. Prior to dating me she was not familiar with guns. Her family doesn’t own any, and she had never held one. We discussed it before dating and she was adamant that she was pro 2nd amendment. <br><br>Fast forward to now, she knows the basics and she’s comfortable holding a gun, and shooting a 9mm. We live together and the other night I come home and my AR is out of the safe. I’m a very particular person, and I know damn well when she moved it, because of the way the sights were adjusted. I asked her what in the hell she was doing, and she said she wanted to look at it. I asked if she cleared it, and she said yes. I tested it and it was. She broke my trust here for the simple fact she moved something she knew she wasn’t supposed to, and knew how I felt about messing with my guns. <br><br>I know it was innocent. And I forgave her. But it bothered me. I’m not sure what the point of this post is but I guess I just need to hear what people think. If you TOUCH MY GUNS, you might as well be touching me. And I don’t want anyone touching me besides me and the ones I love. <br><br>TL;DR ex anti gun girlfriend moved my AR, broke my trust
