AITA for not inviting my cousin and her husband to my wedding?

My grandparents are very big on family, and making sure that everyone is included, and everyone gets along with everyone. So when we were kids, my cousin and I had to spend every other weekend at our grandparents house with all of our cousins. As adults, we are supposed to go to their house for Christmas, and thanksgiving.

I got married last week. It was a very small thing, because my now husband and I both come from big families, and we wanted something small and intimate. We rented out a room at a nice Italian restaurant, and invited our parents, our siblings, his best friend (MOH), and my best friends (Best Man). We also invited my grand parents, and we made sure that they understood that the wedding was just for close family, and since it was such an intimate event, we couldn't invite all of our cousins.

Somehow, all of the cousins found out, and they think im an asshole for excluding them from my wedding.

My cousin Janice in particular is pissed, and is saying that I am being rude to her and her husband for excluding them from my wedding. My grandma says that I should have at least invited Janice, because she is like a sister. I think she has some nerve calling me a sister when she doesn't even talk to me outside of Christmas and thanksgiving, but my grandma just says that doesn't matter since she is family.

AITA?
