The worst day at the range that I’ve ever had.

I don’t have a gun safe at home and I’m not about to get a big one either. So, I keep my Zorba at my fathers. <br><br><br>I have my Zorba for several months now but I didn’t shot it for a long time, so I finally decided that I’m going to go to the range and spent a few hours of practice for the first time. <br><br><br>Last time I shot it was a year ago, and I totally forgot how to disassemble it. So, I decided to watch a few YouTube videos in order to refresh my memory. <br><br><br>So I went to the range and started to assemble it. Easy peasy, I have a big bag with everything, the mags, the round, the BCG, the upper, the lower, the front sight and sometimes the barrel and the gas tube. <br><br><br><br>Nobody ever complained for all that stuff, because I put everything in my L-shaped desk and the side where I sit at doesn’t spill anything to other peoples stuff. <br><br><br>I put the upper and the lower together and everything seems fine, but the BCG doesn’t move. <br><br><br>After trying several things and asking a few people I finally put it together. Then I put the front sight post and barrel and I’m good to go! <br><br><br>First round goes perfect and after that the BCG was stuck. <br><br><br>After 20-30 minutes I barely got it out, and I thought that maybe that was it, but it was stuck again. That was very annoying. <br><br><br>I finally decided to go home because I spent more time trying to figure what the problem was than actually practicing. <br><br><br>That was the worst day at the range ever. And for sure Zorba doesn’t like the new ammo that I recently bought. <br><br><br>She’s and expensive bitch. <br><br><br>Edit: After some research and testing I think I found the problem. <br><br><br>The issue was the weight of the BCG, I removed the plug and the additional weight and I put the whole gun back together and the BCG now works flawlessly. <br><br><br>Yesterday I weighted the round that I used, and I realized that they were lighter that what I was thinking. <br><br><br>So, the issue was the fact that I had very light bullets and I put extra weight at the BCG. <br><br><br>Put everything back together and I’m good to go! Never felt that unprepared and disappointed for not identifying something so obvious.
