Boston Dynamics says it will stop making its robot dog Spot after sales fell short of projections

Boston Dynamics says it's ending production of Spot just a year after becoming part of Hyundai, as the company will pivot to robots that resemble humans.<br><br>"We did not hit the price point or the form factor that we needed to be successful in the mass market," says Boston Dynamics CEO Robert Playter.<br><br>Hyundai acquired Boston Dynamics just over a year ago.
