Something "made in China" used to be a derrogatory term, nowadays its a norm.

I hate doing this, but since Trump became president all I see are people uncovering US based products and boasting that "hey, this company is *Made in the USA*!". What a fucking bullshit, man. Since when were we proud of this? And why are we proud of this? Did our grandparents know that something made in China is inferior in quality or they just didn't give a fuck about where the shit they buy was made? Did we even had the choice of not buying a chinese product back in the day?
