All I ever see here are jokes about men getting blowed up by meteorites, radiation, or by the sun. Why don't we take real action?<br><br>**No**, I don't want to stop using the word "man" because it's a gendered word, and **no**, the answer is not to just give your privilege up to women because women can finally use the word without being offensive.<br><br>I am talking about making real change. We don't have to eliminate patriarchy over night, but every little step we take towards equality makes it easier.<br><br>I'm not saying we need to become feminized beta males. I'm saying that we need to be better companions to women, not just romantically, but as friends. Women don't want to be treated like children. They want us to open up to them and talk to them like adults.<br><br>Stop putting women on a pedestal, because that is an extension of patriarchy. Women are our equals. If we want to be treated as equals, then we need to start treating others like equals.<br><br>And please, please stop hitting women. It's not funny. It's not ok. It's not a joke.
