To those women who are waiting for men to change, please hear this

I see a lot of women waiting for men to change.<br><br>They’re waiting for their partners to get help with their addiction, to stop being abusive, to stop cheating, to stop hitting them, to stop being so aggressive.<br><br>They say things like “our love is so strong, I know that he will change.”<br><br>They are in denial. <br><br>No man has ever changed. Men don’t change their lives for anyone. The idea of a man changing for a woman is a joke.<br><br>I’m not saying they don’t like to call it changing. They call getting rid of the symptoms of a disorder, which is what therapy is, “changing.”<br><br>But the underlying issues are never changed.<br><br>Men are satisfied with getting rid of the symptoms of their problems because it’s enough to stop their partner from demanding a divorce. Men care more about not getting divorced than they do about their health, mental health, the people in their lives, the quality of their relationships, etc. <br><br>Men get very good at faking that they’ve changed. They can fake it for years. <br><br>Don’t trust them. Don’t believe them. Don’t stay in a relationship because you think they’ll turn it around. Don’t be delusional.<br><br>Leave before they suck you dry and destroy your life like they destroy all the others.<br><br>Leave before you turn old with them.<br><br>Leave before they kill you.
