I was kidnapped when I was 19

My story is pretty similar to our original story, so I'll start off by saying that you are right to be paranoid. There are some creepy people in this world, and I just got lucky.

I wasn't kidnapped off the street, instead, I was kidnapped from my front door. My Dad was away, and I had a facial appointment with my regular lady, who we'll call Lucy. She texted me, saying that she'd moved salons, but hadn't managed to update her website yet.

I thought nothing of it, it happens. She gave me the address, and I plugged it into my sat nav to find out where I was going. It was actually only a couple of miles from my house, so I could have walked. But I drove, and gave Lucy a ring, telling her that I was outside and she could let me in.

There was no one outside when I called, and when Lucy answered, she said that she was in the middle of a client. She gave me the code to get into the building, which I did. I went inside and sat in the waiting room.

Nothing seemed off. There were a bunch of medical leaflets scattered around the room, as well as a few facial magazines. It looked exactly like a doctors waiting room.

But something just didn't feel right. I picked up my phone to check the time and saw a text from Lucy. She said that she was running a bit late, and to just make myself comfortable. I looked up to see a lady, who looked to be in her late 30's walk into the room. She had a smile on her face and stood in front of me.

"How are you doing today?" She asked. I ignored her for a second and instead typed a text to Lucy. It read something like "I thought you said we were the only people in the building!"

Looking back I can't believe that I didn't just leave. But for some reason I didn't want to hurt Lucy's feelings. Or make it seem like I thought she was lying.

smiling back at the woman, I said "I'm fine, thanks. Just a bit confused!"

"What do you mean?" She asked. I could sense a slight facial tick in her voice. I held up my phone and said "Lucy said we're the only people in the building. Am I in the wrong place?"

The woman's expression changed. It wasn't a smile anymore. It was like she was undisguised now. I tried to stand up, but she pushed me back onto the chair. My hands were pinned behind my back. I couldn't look behind me, but I assumed that she had help.

A needle went into my neck and that was it. Everything went black. When I came around, I was back in my car. I didn't know how long I'd been gone for. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. A hand reached over my shoulder and handed me my phone.

I accepted it without looking, and a text from Lucy came through. The text said "Make sure you don't forget to tell your dad you're staying at mine tonight. That way, no one will be looking for you yet!"

I tried to text back, to tell her that I already suspected something was wrong, and that my dad would just tell her that I was at a friends and not at hers. But there was no signal.

A voice came from the back of the car. "I'm sorry. There's no signal here. But this isn't about me abducting you. I just want to tell you something before this is over with"

I looked in my rear view mirror. The woman from the waiting room, was sat in the back of my car, looking like she was in her 50's now? It was like I was watching her age as I looked.

"I think you might already know" She said "But my name is Akantha. I have a gift. And I'm sorry that you have to see it. But once I'm done, you won't remember. Not fully. There will be flashbacks, but not memories"

"What do you mean?" I tried to ask. But Akathna just opened her window. A few seconds later, a glass bottle flew through the window and landed on my lap. I screamed, but before I could do anything else, I heard a noise from the back of the car.

I looked in the mirror, to see Akantha sat in exactly the same position, with a small smile on her face. When I managed to look away from the mirror, I realised what was on my lap.

It was a severed head. With a note tucked into its mouth. The note read, "Don't forget Lucy"

The whole car went black, and I was back at home. I didn't remember how I got back into my car, or how I got back home. I didn't remember anything.

But for months afterwards, I'd have flashbacks. I'd wake up with the image of that head on my lap. The only thing I remembered was Akantha's name and face. I knew it was her, and I knew that she was out there somewhere.

For months, I avoided everyone. I didn't go out, I didn't see anyone. I barely even left my house. I was so frightened. Until one day, I received a card in the post. It was my birthday, and it was from Lucy.

The card read "Happy 20th Birthday. I hope you're doing well"

I sobbed. I knew exactly who Lucy was. And I knew exactly what she was doing. She was telling me that I still hadn't forgotten, and that she was still watching me.

But I still can never remember anything about that night, aside from what I can tell you. I don't know how I got home. I don't know what happened in the time that I was gone. I don't know anything. But I do know that Akantha and Lucy are monsters. And that they might still be out there, together.

Akantha and Lucy, I know that you're still out there. And I hope that one day, someone will catch up with you.
