To those women who kill their partners

I think it’s fair to say we don’t know what it’s like to be you, and that we are coming from a place of privilege in even asking. We’re also coming from a place where the vast majority of us are extremely fortunate in our circumstances, and so the idea of killing someone who’s threatened us (and we’re often talking about men who are trying to kill us, right?) is something we might imagine with a sense of detached fascination, rather than from the gut.<br><br>We have a lot of men on this sub, and we are all going to benefit from your words, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and for the time it takes to help us understand.
