[Update] I pulled my kids out of the school I am at because of a 5th grader.

My original post got a lot of traction and a few asked for an update. I have the attention of the administration now and I asked them for an update. Here is what they learned. <br><br>I learned that the boy who hit my son is a foster child. He has been a foster child for his entire 10 years on this earth. He is currently with his 6th foster family. He pulled a knife on his last 5 families. 4 of them were able to get him in therapy but he hasn't had therapy since he was with the last one. None of his foster families have filed a report with CPS. He is also substantially low in reading, math, and science. The therapist now knows about him pulling knives on kids at his last school and his foster families. <br><br>I learned that no one thought about a referral to CPS because they assumed it was already done. <br><br>I did a search of the cops website and I was right. No report was ever filed. <br><br>My son is doing ok. He doesn't want to be out for the rest of the week. He is still mad he got hit.<br><br>I will keep everyone updated.
