The Gun Industry Trade Organization will be self-sustaining establishment by the collection of fees from gun manufacturers, dealers, and importers. <br><br>The fees are structured as follows: <br><br>Manufacturers are charged the following fees:<br><br>* Handguns $9 per firearm manufactured or imported <br><br>* Rifles and shotguns $3.50 per firearm manufactured or imported <br><br>* Muzzleloaders $10 per hand gun and $6 per long gun <br><br>* Suppressors $12 per suppressor <br><br>* Gun locks $0.45 per lock <br><br>Gun dealers, pawnbrokers, and FFLs will be charged $50 per year <br><br>Gun shows will be charged the following fees;<br><br>* 1-2 tables $10<br><br>* 3-9 tables $20<br><br>* 10plus tables $50<br><br>Trade shows will be charged the following: <br><br>* Small trade shows will be charged at least $50<br><br>* Midsize trade shows will be charged at least $90<br><br>* Large trade shows will be charged at least $125<br><br>This is a summary of the new tax establishment and the fees it will charge.<br><br>What are your thoughts on these Progressive fees?
