Government hackers destroy Vietnamese and Filipino websites after กล่องสี่เหลี่ยม TV boxes accused of providing pirated content

Financial News and the South China Morning Post reported this week that hackers had set out to sabotage websites and digital TV boxes owned by companies in Vietnam and the Philippines.<br><br>The digital TV boxes featured a box marked box with the words "Mini Box", which was launched at the beginning of last year and the attack is believed to have been carried out after Chinese authorities allegedly accused the devices of distributing pirated content.<br><br>In addition to the websites and boxes, other companies in Southeast Asia were also allegedly hacked after TV boxes were accused of providing pirated content.<br><br>The report added: "The hacker groups in China have already cleaned up the pirates in China and have now also worked to clean up pirate companies in Southeast Asia."<br><br>So far, it is unclear which websites and digital TV boxes were hacked.<br><br>While pirating can certainly have negative effects on the TV industry as a whole, hacking is not the best solution and may be illegal in some cases, especially if the pirated content is distributed after companies outside of China are accused of pirating.
