I was down in the cellar, searching for wine, when I found the old VHS tape thrown away down there. Looking closer, I actually found 5 of them, old VHS tapes that had been thrown away.

I flipped through them and noticed 5 strange titles on them. It looked like someone had written the titles "Fun Day", "Baby Monitor", "The Lamp", "The Computer", and "The Phone Call" on them. There were dates down at the bottom as well, "Fun Day" the date written was 1956. "Baby Monitor" was 1975, "The Lamp" was 1995, "The Computer" was 2010, "The Phone Call" was 2021. Weirdly enough, I also found the tape titled "Gift" with the date 2023 written on it, without any numbers. I really hope that's not the prediction for when I die.

I gave a deep sigh as I grabbed all of them and put them in my jacket, deciding I'd watch all of them once I went upstairs.

I walked towards the stairs and the creaky wooden stairs cracked beneath my weight with each step, echoing through the empty cellar.

Once I got to my apartment I started the fire, poured myself a glass of wine, sat back in my couch with a sigh, and popped in the first tape titled "Fun Day". I had to adjust the TV a few times for the picture to show up. Once it did, I sat back down on the couch and got comfortable.

The picture was black and white, and pretty fuzzy. But I could hear very happy children's voices and laughter. After a moment the image of a small playground showed up. There was a small Ferris wheel around 1-2 stories tall sitting in the middle of the playground, and lots of happy children both playing on the swings and riding the Ferris wheel. There were adults standing nearby, smiling as they watched the children have fun.

I was a little confused. I didn't know what to make of this. Had I just stumbled upon an old family tape that had been thrown away? The happy children and adults were all smiling. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. Then the camera zoomed in on the Ferris wheel.

All of the children were smiling and waving at the camera. Then it stopped turning. One by one the children got out of their seats. I was starting to feel uneasy. Something told me something wasn't right about this situation.

One by one the children started falling from their seats in the Ferris wheel, smashing to the ground below, screaming horribly. I watched in shock and horror as it happened to every single child in the Ferris wheel before the camera zoomed out to show all of the children lying on the ground twitching and screaming in agony.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of laughter and cheering erupt from the adults. All of the adults were smiling from cheek to cheek, jumping up and down, and cheering and laughing at the sight of the children dying and suffering. A few of them were even filming the incident with their cameras and smiling as they took pictures.

Then the camera zoomed out more. I saw a man sitting next to someone in a park bench not very far from the Ferris wheel. He was smiling and had his arm around the person next to him. The camera zoomed in on both of them, and I got a good look at the man who was smiling from cheek to cheek, and had his arm around a little girl sitting next to him, no older than 5 years old. The camera zoomed out even more at that point, showing the thousands of people in this huge park, all fighting and trying to get on the Ferris wheel.

Then it cut to an older man sitting in an office. He was smiling from cheek to cheek, and had his arm around a little girl sitting next to him, no older than 5. Then the camera zoomed in on the man's face, grinning from cheek to cheek, before it cut off.

I was left staring at the static screen of the television for a few minutes. I couldn't believe what I had just watched. Were the people in that video demons? Was the park in that video hell? I thought about the man in the park bench, grinning cheek to cheek. What were his intentions for the little girl next to him? He looked like he loved her, but in a very deranged and sick way.

I decided I'd take a quick break and watch the rest later. A wave of anxiety washed over me as I sat in the silence of the dark room. I had a terrifying idea, what if the park was real? What if it really did exist somewhere? A place where thousands of people could go to fight to the death to ride a Ferris wheel and inevitably die when they fell off it. And at the end of the day, 5 children would get carved up at the end of each day and served as meat at a feast to all of the people in the park, celebrating the children's death.

But I still had to finish watching the other 4 VHS tapes, plus the gift I had received.

All of the questions I had running through my head disappeared once and for all once I popped in the next VHS tape, "Baby Monitor".

This one was much shorter than "Fun Day".

It showed the interior of a living room of a house, with a TV screen in the corner of the room displaying the image of a baby sleeping in a crib in a dark room. The only light in the room came from a nightlight. I didn't see any windows, so I'm guessing it was in the basement.

Suddenly the baby started crying. I watched in confusion as it started convulsing and thrashing it's hands and feet wildly in the air. It was so violent that it actually flipped itself over in the crib, and fell onto it's stomach. Of course as any baby would, it started wailing at the top of it's lungs, thrashing it's hands and feet even more violently than before.

I was shocked and terrified at what I was watching. What could have cause this? What kind of sick person would do this to a baby?

Then a woman's voice came from outside the room. "Shut the fu\*\* up" she yelled. A few seconds later the door opened, then the woman's shadow appeared on the wall over the night light blocking out the light. A few seconds later I heard her pull out a knife of some sort. I heard a loud struggle for a few seconds. Then nothing. The baby had stopped wailing and thrashing.

The camera cut out shortly after that, and the static screen appeared on the tv again. I sat in silence, dumbfounded and speechless, trying to process what I had just watched.

For a few minutes I just sat there. Finally, I regained composure and decided to continue with "The Lamp".

This one was the most confusing. It was just an image of a desk lamp sitting on a table. A few seconds later some hands appeared on the screen, turning on the lamp. Then it just cut off. Nothing at all happened.

I was more confused than ever. What could possibly make this tape so special that it would be put away with the others?

I decided to take a break, take a walk through the streets of Tokyo. It was actually beautiful. It was a nice day out today. I walked the streets aimlessly for a while, looking at the people and billboards rushing past me. I walked for a while then sat down at a bench to rest. I decided I'd go back to my apartment and continue watching the rest of the tapes.

I arrived home. Then I popped in the next tape. I was getting a little excited. "The Computer" was the title on the tape, and the date was 2010. It was pretty recent, so at least I would actually be able to understand what was going on. I actually found myself a little excited at the chance of understanding what was going on.

The picture on the TV showed the image of a monitor. A few seconds later the monitor turned on.

Then the image of a web browser appeared on the screen, displaying a website. It was a YouTube video. The title was "Kevin the Dog". There was a username displayed on the channel. "DrBʌʁrz Fʌcəl'Aрpaяiт".

I highly doubt that's a real username, but if it is, be sure to check it out. I'll let you all know if I find anything more.

Then the video started playing. I watched as the cursor hovered over the play button, then clicked it. The video started playing, showing the image of an old man sitting on a couch in his living room, holding a cat. He introduced himself as Dr. Harris, then introduced his cat Kevin.

I started to feel a bit outraged. This wasn't the same as the first three. This was just a regular guy and his cat! Where was the dark meaning and symbolism behind it? Of course that would change once Dr. Harris got off of work the next day.

I watched as Kevin got fed, then the image cut to Dr. Harris talking to the camera again. He moved closer to the camera than before. This time he actually seemed distraught. The smile on his face had been replaced by a frown. He looked up at the camera, and started to talk. I could see the tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry Kevin. You mean so much to me. But my followers want me to hurt you. I have to make them happy. I'm sorry Kevin".

I started to feel a wave of nausea wash over me. What was
