Why did Lithuanian special services deliberately grow Lithuanian diaspora in the USA

The answer is that the USA is a big empire that has significantly more interesting, big and rich states than Lithuania. While Lithuanians would never be able to stand up against the USA, they can steal money from their own budget to please Americans and let them live in a normal country that is relatively stable and big enough. Because let's be honest, no one wants to live in a mediocre and relatively poor country like Lithuania in Eastern Europe. <br><br>One of the key goals achieved in the USA is that they took away money from Ukrainian Americans, who have significantly more money and could do something big with their diaspora in the USA.
