I'm worried about my friend

I'm 15 and I've been talking to this guy (16) online for a while now and we chat every day. I didn't know him before I met him online but he's been nice to me so far. But then he made a comment about wanting to meet up in person. I'm really scared about it and don't want to go. I was talking to my other friend who is close to him too and she told me he's always making comments about girls and it's really gross. I told her about my concern and she just said I shouldn't go and that he's not a good person. I know I shouldn't go and I'm just scared he might try something, but I'm worried about what she said. Should I just be careful or should I just not go at all?
