AITA for not taking down a post?

My son got a closed FB group (closed because of minor children) for family. Daughters husband asked him to remove a picture/post I had put as he didn’t want his daughter (8) seeing it. Here’s the content:

My daughter was 3years old. She was killed in a drowning accident. We were at the lake and she was with her dad on a tube in the middle of the lake. He was tossed as the tube came around a turn too sharply and it came off. This was a new tube. (She had grown) It also did not have a seatbelt or bar to keep a little one in place. They never saw her go under. By the time they found her she had been under a couple of minutes. She drowned. Being in the middle of the lake they had to pull her on the tube and bring her to the shore so CPR could be started. She was brought back. She was flown to the nearest children’s hospital and put on a ventilator. Two days later she was extubated to-room air and she was perfectly fine. Not a single braincell was killed. I even spoke with the doctor and asked about the lack of oxygen getting to her brain. He said that even though she was a couple of minutes without air supply with today’s technology she would be just fine.

I posted it on the family page as a reminder as summer is getting near and kids get hurt easy. Being closed group no one outside would see it. And it’s the truth. A 3 year old little girl drowned and was saved. Not sure why someone would have an issue with it since it happened. I told my son to tell BIL to shove it. If he didn’t want his kids to see it, he should have a private page just for his kids and their wants/needs.

So AITA for standing by the post and not having it taken down?
