CMV: The concept of race has no place in academic research, and should be removed from educational institutions.

In general, I believe race is a poor determinant for anything other than skin colour. It isn't scientifically sound, and the differences between races of humans are far less than the similarities. The race of a person should not influence how we judge their research, and each issue should be viewed on a case by case basis.<br><br>Edit: Holy guacamole, silver for beginners? Glad you guys agree with me! <br><br>Edit 2: Race should not be repressed. It should influence hiring academic positions, as long as those are on a case by case basis.
