Something you guys may find weird.

I was born blind, I got a lot of my disability support from a NGO, I am now cured, I can see just fine.<br><br>The weird part is that I went to their office to thank them and I met a blind lady in her mid 30s, I went up to her and said what I said above and she started to cry.<br><br>I got in trouble and one of the staff asked me to leave.<br><br>My wife and I looked it up afterwards, we found out that she wasn't actually blind, she had a job where she was a "blind person" at the NGO.<br><br>I was shocked, this is disgusting.<br><br>Edit my wife wrote her a letter explaining what happened.<br><br>I re-read the letter and one line stood out.<br><br>"If you wanted attention that badly, you could have said so, I would have been more than happy to be your friend"<br><br>I want to say thank you to that lady from the bottom of my heart, she wrote something that most people would have written, which means that she isn't a bad person and that she is going through tough times.<br><br>Now this is the weird part, when I read that line and one line before it, I felt a knot in my throat.<br><br>"If you wanted attention that badly, you could have said so, I would have been more than happy to be your friend"<br><br>"Why are you such a bad person?"<br><br>Edit 2.<br><br>I want to thank you all so much, I never knew that my wife's letter would spread so far, and it's so nice to know that it had such a positive impact on people.
