MAGA Rapped on my neighbors door with a rifle. This is getting too normalized

So this piece of shit reeks of booze in 6 degree weather here in northern massachusetts and he bangs on my neighbors door at 9pm. He must be in his 40’s and carries around a rifle on his front porch. I invited his kids over to play basketball and football with my kids yesterday and he was very nice. He told my kids to watch out because he shoots raccoons and he shoots cans off the fence. <br><br>He has been a pretty good neighbor and we actually got along well enough. He told us he is an ex army MP. <br><br>I invited his kids over to play with my kids and he said his kid was grounded and he brought out a rifle. He shoots at raccoons and cans off the fence in his backyard. He brought it in the house and he put it on the dining room table and walked back outside. I’m wondering why he would bring the rifle into his house when I was there. He then told us that sometimes when his wife gets angry she gets in her car and just drives to the beach or something hours away. He also showed us a bunch of pictures on his phone of him on the beach while his kids were babies. And then showed us a picture of where he buried his cat that died. This all happened in like 45 minutes. Very strange to say the least. <br><br>He sometimes comments politically about videos I share. I’m a democrat socialist. Minds you this is a very wealthy blue area. <br><br>My neighbor calls the police and reports this guy. Cops show up to my neighbors house and they speak to him for 3 minutes and leave. I’m so fed up with this crap. <br><br>These people are becoming more and more common. What’s the next step? The police aren’t doing anything about these people. And if you speak to them you will sound like a radical leftist. And if we say take everyone’s guns we will get met with such resistance it won’t ever happen. <br><br>This guy told us he wants his kid to be a police or a soldier. Great guy to raise your kids.
