I went on a date with a girl and she said something that gave me an existential crisis.

I was on a date with a girl and things were good. I forgot what triggered this but she said that she thought that the world of the show Black Mirror is something that humanity is heading for in the next 100 years and that it'll be really tough because of all the new things that we'll have to adapt to. The first thing that I thought about was "Is it worth it?"<br><br>It also made me think about my own life and what it would be like to live for 100+ years. By the time that humans colonize other planets, I'll already be dead. But it's weird that I'll never see that happen. I could think of any piece of media, politics or scientific research and I know that I'll never see the end of it.<br><br>I'm sorry if I just wrote a random rant but I wanted to know of others think about things like this too.
