A kid came in after lockdown was called and was acting confused, he got to the door and I basically took him on a bear hug and made him step into the classroom and told him to sit down on the floor. I texted the vice principal and told him someone missed lockdown and he came and took the kid away, later the student told us that he “considered fighting me but figured better not to”.

One of my coworkers got a broken glass vase thrown at her head, slamming shut the door to protect herself, and one kid was holding his teacher hostage with a phone. It’s been a long day.
