People claiming flat earth is an insult to our intelligence

I'm sure we have all heard these self absorbed geniuses who claim Earth is "flat as a pancake" and that the Earth looks like a pie chart (meaning Antarctica is just a border around the whole flat Earth for those who don't know)<br>I think we all know that this is an insult to our intelligence. I mean that's what these people are going for when they talk about the horizon always being at eye level, or "water always finds it's level" and many other things that make me want to pull my hair out when I listen to these idiots. We all know this, but we must also understand that these people are most likely just trolls who want to be contrarian and do it in the most annoying and idiotic way possible just to annoy us<br>This is the way it's been for most of human history, whether it's flat earthers or people who insist the world was made in 6 days these people are often just trolling us and want to get a rise out of us, however it doesn't mean we should just stand by and do nothing. Standing up against your stupidity with facts isn't the same as giving them the attention they so desperately crave. In my eyes it is even WORSE to stand by and do nothing than to stand up to flat earthers and creationists.
