AITA for kicking my brother and his fiancée out of my house after they tried to make me quit my job?

Okay, this just happened a day or so ago and I’m still fuming and really unsure of what to do. Here are the details:

So I’m (26m) the youngest of six kids. My parents are semi-retired and live across town, while my siblings and I are all living in the city where I work as an accountant.

I only have two siblings in close proximity to me: my oldest sister and my brother. Both are much older than me (oldest is 41 and brother is 35). For clarity, I’ll call my brother Benny.

Both the sister and Benny live with their wives/fiancée in my neighborhood. At least, they did.

Last year I started dating and moved in with my girlfriend. That’s when Benny started complaining about how he and his then girlfriend could never come over without us being home. This went on for awhile until they finally asked if they could move in with me. Now I’m not some rich guy, so I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea of having two strangers living in my house. But I finally agreed on one condition: that my sister could kick them out if they overstayed their welcome.

My sister visited a few months after and said that Benny and his girlfriend were cleaning out their stuff and moving out of my house. I was like “okay” until she started going off about what an ungrateful asshole Benny is. Apparently, Benny and his fiancée (let’s call her WW) make pretty decent money. He brings in a six figure salary while she’s a high earning nurse. They bought a house together and moved in with all of us at the same time as them (oldest sister and her husband moved in down the street before COVID hit).

My sister went on to say that they’re only problems were about her quitting her job to start a family. Apparently Benny would often bitch about how she was wasting her youth and degrees by having kids so soon and how she was throwing away hundreds of thousands of dollars in career advancement and education. My sister said that WW started to feel bad for Benny and started becoming more supportive of him, going so far as to miss appointments with her lawyer to complain about him to so he decided he needed to stop being a burden and start being more supportive of WW’s career.

Apparently they got into an argument recently where WW told Benny that she wanted to resign from her job already, but that he’s making it hard for her to do so. That’s when WW apparently told Benny that he had been a burden to her for long enough and it was time for her to focus on herself and that meant quitting her job. This, apparently, pushed Benny over the edge and he apparently went off the deep end and started ranting about how she was wasting her time, money and youth. WW apparently was really upset and decided that she needed to make a change and so she started making plans to leave Benny and Benny apparently freaked out.

The long and short of it is that Benny WW’s presence in the house went from being a burden to a blessing as my sister and I were there to comfort her and now Benny wants them out. He says that he’s been doing his best to support WW and be supportive of WW and that WW should be thankful to still be around and should stop complaining.

I didn’t do anything to stop them, but a couple nights ago they got into another fight and WW started packing her stuff. Benny, in a moment of anger, grabbed her phone and threw it out the window. That was the breaking point for me, and WW called her mom to come get her stuff.

Benny showed up and started bitching at me for siding with WW. I lost my shit and told him that if he couldn’t be a grown ass man and treat a woman with respect I didn’t want him in my home.

Now Benny is saying that I’m making him homeless, WW is saying that she’s not going to let this ruin their relationship and my sister is saying that I should’ve stayed out of it.

AITA?
