My company is matching donations to a specific charity up to $600 so we gave $300 thinking that the company would match it. It was one of the few charities my husband and I agree on. <br><br>I had a conversation with my husband today about the donation and he said he thinks the company is matching because they think people will give $600 on their own and feel good about it without having to give the full $600. I said that was crazy talk. I gave my most ever because of the matching donation and wouldn’t change my giving if they hadn’t been matching it. These type charitable giving matching campaigns are all over the place.
