Fantasy Europe in the 1930s

The 1930s were a time of strife in Europe. Hitler in Germany was heading towards war, civil war in Spain and so on. After so much satisfaction we go into war. After war there is peace. After so long wars in Europe there is now relative peace to day. But how would it look in a fantasy European nation? For example, magic, vampires, shapeshifters and werewolves. What would happen to magic? These were difficult years of people just finding ways to live. How would the pressure of magic effect the European nations in those years? Would the European nations band together for a war, or would they tear each other apart?<br><br>- Thanks for the upvotes. After so long, you would think war would pay off. It does in the short term to day. But in the long run we have to pay the bills for those wars. Magic would be too expensive. How would magic effect the war? Technology was the magical thing about the 1930s in our time. How would magic wars in the 30s look?
