AITA for going after my mom?

I was raised in a strict Christian home by my mom and dad. I am 17M and this event took place three days ago. <br><br>Three days ago I was packing and my mom asked me where I was going. I told her to live with my dad. I was just fed up with my mom and I got up and left. <br><br>My mom and I have always clashed and I never felt comfortable at home or liked being around my mom. My mom was generally strict and I don't mind having rules but it was stifling to live with her and she had very conflicting strict rules it made no sense. <br><br>When I turned 16 I asked my mom if I could get my first car but she said no and that I can't have a license so I can't drive till I'm 18. I tried to prove that I was responsible by excelling in school and I'm a pro in sports. I volunteered and babysat. Still when I turned 17 my mom told me I'm not getting a car. <br><br>Neither of my parents paid for my birthday or Christmas nor did they help with my graduation. My friend's parents helped me with that. <br><br>I was fed up with my mom's rules and the way she treated me. Besides she already kicked me out three times last year because of little things. I went to live with my dad each time and she always begged me to come back. <br><br>Once I told her not to make promises she can't keep. She promised to get me a car and didn't. She told me I could go camping and then when the time came she backed out. So I told her to avoid making promises she can't keep. <br><br>She got offended and told me I'm spoiled and that I get everything. I asked parents if that is true. I asked dad and he said mom is right and that mom is paying for everything. I don't feel like they were paying for everything. They didn't help me out let's say with my graduation or my birthday. <br><br>A couple of months ago my mom told me I can't get my license and that I have to avoid driving so I didn't. When I got my license it was only because one of my teachers took me to take the test and he let me drive to the test and back home. Besides my dad drove me to get my license test. <br><br>Neither of them helped me get a car and neither of them tried to get me one. I bought one with my own money. <br><br>So I told my parents I have to leave soon and I'm not coming back. I told dad I was leaving and my mom tried to say dad said I can't leave and I should come back and that I am not welcomed to live with her. <br><br>I'm getting heat for leaving my mom. I asked my mom if I could go camping and she said no. I asked to get my license and she said no. I asked for a car and she said no. She told me I couldn't drive and I told my parents not to make promises you can't keep. <br><br>So when my mom tried to stop me from leaving she told me I can stay and she's sorry. I told her she already told me I'm leaving. <br><br>My boyfriend told me to stay and he's disappointed I left my mom's house. <br><br>So AITA?
