ViVi's reason to live

Every time I come to this sub I'm pained to see so many comments of girls remarking about wanting to die or something like this. Some people are surrounded by fragile females who use this mindset to justify their overprotectiveness, which in turn just fuels the same mindset. So, I'll go over some positive aspects of being a woman in my opinion.<br><br>I do not intend to create a "women are better than men" or a "not all women are the same" discussion, and this does not apply solely to women. But for the sake of keeping this sub's theme, I'll phrase it this way.<br><br>**Nobody has to be a 'tough guy'**<br><br>Imagine having to act all masculine, as if the only thing that makes you a real man was fighting, smoking, having sex. It's hard to be a 'real man', and nobody should ever feel pressured into being one, as opposed to general expectations to become the 'tough guy' in your group. You can do whatever you feel like, there's no expectation for females to be tough. They know that girls don't make the best fighters, so in their minds you're not expected to be tough, which makes it much easier to be true to yourself.<br><br>**They're more forgiving towards women**<br><br>It's perfectly fine for women to cry, be vulnerable, be weak emotionally speaking. It makes creating close relationships with your friends so much easier. You don't have to be the strong one all the time. Although you're expected to take care of a man in some way if you're in a relationship with them, you can still allow yourself to be weak. There's a lot less expectation to bottle things in.<br><br>**Less people care about your height**<br><br>For some reason, men feel threatened by other men when they're short. Women often prefer taller men, but nobody likes a short man. If you're a woman, however, even if you're taller than a man you're dating, he'll still love you, and nobody's going to be embarrassed to walk with you in public. Men will always be expected to be taller and stronger, and they can't change this.<br><br>**Women are all about self-love, so you have the freedom to do whatever you feel like**<br><br>This is largely the same as the 'tough guy' segment. But for a more specific example, think of this: women are largely not judged for things like drinking wine on their own in their pajamas on a friday night, which is a great reason to live if you ask me. They're expected to know how to enjoy themselves and how to take care of their own bodies, whereas men need to be around other men to feel like they can be themselves.
