Why is the world so messed up?

I don't understand why our world is so messed up and the fact that humans are living in such an unfair and evil world. The evil win and the good lose. The innocent suffers while evil people prosper and are celebrated. War, corruption, greed, trafficking for sex, organs, drugs, homelessness and poverty. Why is life so messed up and unfair? What's wrong with people and why is the world so evil?
