Husband hasn't kissed me in a year, is that unreasonable?

My husband puts kissing/high intimacy acts into the love language category, where he believes he only has to do it when he feels like it. It's been a year since we kissed- one peck on the lips, nothing else. He refused to hug me and hold hands with me until we went to couples counseling, and that only lasted for 2 days.

I asked him if he would at least give me a hug and a peck on the lips like he used to, and that never happened. I've tried communicating, punished by ignoring, and giving him all the space he wants/endless affection (not at the same time).

I'm not really sure what to do here. I don't want to leave him, but I don't want to feel like his roommate either. I love him so much, but I need love in the way he gives it to me- intimate kissing.
