An empire that uses the stolen memories of the enemies' dead relatives (brain dead with no chance of recovery) to make them surrender.

Every time they gain a territory, they first find the brain dead with no chance of recovery and uses magic to extract their memories. (There's no risk of the dead waking up, they are beyond saving).<br><br>They basically make fake actors of the relatives (with the prominent accent, sayings, and voice) and they use those actors to get whoever is in charge of the enemy to surrender, usually using the stolen memories (what the living relatives already told the dead) and the fact that they say sayings and answers that the dead would tell. They make it seem as if the dead are still alive but only if they do what they are being told.<br><br>I wanted to create a very grindy and dark fantasy that makes a big war seem like a war crime.<br><br>The empire is like the ultimate power where everyone would rather flee than fight.
