Why are women so picky about men’s height?

I don’t get why they are so strict on men’s height it just baffles me and makes me angry. Men don’t specify women’s height for the most part, why women are so has it when they see a short man. Women are the same species as men, they have no right to shun a man for height. They can also shut down a man with just “you’re not my type” men don’t have that luxury because of the previous reason. Honestly, with the way society treats men today I don’t see why I should care for women or do anything for them.
