CMV: The fact that Matt Gaetz is a child groomer, and the Democratic Party didn't rip him to shreds over this shows that maybe the Democratic Party isn't out to get our kids after all.

Matt Gaetz, an elected US Representative for the state of Florida, has been found guilty of soliciting sex from a minor. At the time he was 36, and the girl was 17. He met her at a conference while he was giving a speech, and some articles are even suggesting that they were dating. It is confirmed that he was exchanging nude photographs with her while he was an active congressman. At the time, the legal age of consent in Florida was 18, so what he did was illegal. <br><br>Even though this information has been out for several years, he is still serving as a US Representative. <br><br>It makes no sense to me how anyone can possibly continue to think that any Democrats, including Biden himself, want to trans/gay groom kids into being homosexual, or that they are out to get our kids at all.<br><br>If the Democratic Party were genuinely out to get our kids, then wouldn't they have thrown Gaetz under the bus already?<br><br> Wouldn't they have mentioned this in any of their campaigns? Wouldn't this have been all over the news, and the Democratic party would be calling for Matt Gaetz to resign? It seems like they haven't made any attempt to call him out on this at all.<br><br>What do you think? Why do you think they would allow this to continue to go on?
